Meet the founder

Hunor-Uwe Szász-Gerőcs
Founder, MW IQ
I founded MW IQ at 20, in Cluj. I build websites for businesses that want to be taken seriously, and I stay with them month after month.
To give Romanian businesses a serious online presence, at a fair price, with people who stay after delivery.
A market where every serious business in Romania has an online presence that matches it: not a generic template, not an abandoned site. Something built with care and maintained continuously.
51% of Romanian SMEs have no website. Those that do often work with freelancers who disappear or agencies that deliver and forget you. Owners pay a lot or a little, and either way don't get what they need: a long-term partner.
We started from a simple observation: serious businesses deserve serious partners. Not self-service software, not anonymous agencies. MW IQ is the answer to a real gap in the Romanian market: a web firm that delivers, answers, and stays.
I'm from Cluj-Napoca, 20 years old, and I grew up with both Romanian and Hungarian roots. That taught me early on that things are done right or not at all.
I work fast and carefully at the same time. The first concept arrives in 48 hours. Not to impress, but to start a real conversation. The site goes live in two weeks. And after launch I stay, every month.
For me, serious doesn't mean rigid or distant. It means doing what you promised, picking up when you're called, and staying with the client after the project is live. Simple things, but rare.
I study Business and Technology Management at Tetr College of Business, a program that convinced me that technology and entrepreneurship go hand in hand. MW IQ is, in part, a direct application of what I'm learning.
